Carter’s Mill is an active-adult community for people 55 and older. The Bluemont townhouse and the Passport and Abbeyville single-family houses are the most popular of the models available. All models can be customized, and all have the option of adding a loft. The home site determines whether a finished basement can be added. Each model offers the option of a sunroom or screened porch and exterior elevations (designs) with brick or stone front porches. Kitchens can be upgraded to include a 36-inch cooktop with chimney hood vent to the ceiling and a wall oven. All models have luxury vinyl plank flooring. Engineered hardwood flooring is an option as well. All models have attached garages and small yards.

The Castle Rock single-family house has, as options, oak stairs to the loft, a gas fireplace, a screened porch and a patio.

Abbeyville options include a sunroom, a gas fireplace and a patio.

Passport options include a sunroom, a rear patio, a loft and oak stairs to the loft.
