LSU basketball star Angel Reese is channeling Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders amid her absence from the team.

The All-American forward shared a video of herself to TikTok Wednesday, which showed her walking around in a pink robe while a recording of a speech the Hall of Fame defensive back gave about naysayers played.

“Look at me,” said Sanders, who made the comments during a press conference in Colorado in August. “What about me would make you think that I care about your opinion of me?

“Your opinion of me is not the opinion that I have of myself. You ain’t make me so you can’t break me.”

That was a shortened version of Sanders’ comments, which included, “You didn’t build me so you can’t kill me.”

The comments on the post were turned off as of Thursday.

Reese shared the entire video of Sanders during the press conference on her Instagram Story on Sunday.

Reese also shared a supportive note she received from her neighbors in a separate post on her Instagram Story on Wednesday.

“Dear Angel,” it read. “Come back to the games I am your biggest fan.”

It’s unclear why Reese has been away from the team.

The 21-year-old junior missed her second consecutive game when LSU blew out Texas Southern University, 102-47, on Monday.

Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey has refused to share any further information aside from telling reporters that Reese is a part of the LSU women’s basketball team.

The drama surrounding Reese started when she was benched for the entire second half of the Lady Tigers’ 30-point win over Kent State on Nov. 14.

She then did not attend LSU’s road win over Southeastern Louisiana, 73-50, on Nov. 17.

Reese has yet to directly address her absence, although she has remained active on social media.

Her boyfriend, Florida State University guard Cam’Ron Fletcher, shared a sweet tribute to Reese in a post on his Instagram Story, which included photos of the couple together.

“Thankful to have such an amazing person like you in my life,” he wrote.

Reese has been at the center of rumors that she’s suspended over poor grades.

A separate report from OutKick said Reese was benched for the purposes of an “attitude adjustment.”

“Please don’t believe everything you read,” Reese wrote on X Sunday.

It came a day after she posted a photo of an LSU court with a cart filled with basketballs to her Instagram Story.

Additionally, Reese’s mother, Angel Reese Webb, and LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson’s mother, Kia Brooks, reportedly went after each other on social media.

Brooks alleged that Reese has a “2.0 or less GPA” and told Webb to “take responsibility for you and your daughter’s actions,” according to Just Women’s Sports.
