Peterik wrote the hit song "Vehicle" for the Ides of March and has co-written songs for artists such as Cheap Trick, 38 Special, Blackhawk, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brian Wilson, the Beach Boys, Sammy Hagar, and REO Speedwagon.
